Hi! My name is Madison Rooney! I am a senior at the University of Tennessee, majoring in marketing with a collateral in entrepreneurship. I am an out-of-state student from Denver, Colorado. I have loved being a Volunteer the past three and a half years more than anything!

I founded Rocky Top Rentals, a gameday-focused rental company designed to make tailgating easier, more affordable, sustainable, and hassle-free for UT students, parents, alumni and fans– delivered, set up, and ready for gamedays on Rocky Top. Students, along with myself, often want to host a tailgate on Saturdays, but do not own supplies to do so. Nor do they want to haul or have the ability to store bulky tailgating gear in their dorms or apartments. Students also do not want to spend the money to buy quality gear, let alone, spend thousands of dollars on premium tailgating services. Rocky Top Rentals solves these problems by bridging the gap and offering pre-bundled, reusable tailgating gear, delivered, set up, and picked up once they are headed to Neyland stadium.

Being from out-of-state has made me live first-hand, the difficulties it takes to host a tailgate on Saturdays. Tailgates allow UT students, alumni, and fans to experience a true, Volunteer-spirited game day on Rocky Top.
